Lemon Poppyseed cake

It’s time to bake with the two sisters! This is a recipe from a magazine called Easy Cook from BBC good food. Hope you enjoy the recipe…πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜ 


  • 175g butter, softened
  • 175g golden caster sugar
  • 200g self-raising flour 
  • 4 lemons grated 
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 table spoons poppy seeds
  • 125g natural yogurt



Firstly, beat the butter and sugar together until it is fluffy.

Secondly, put the flour and the grinded lemon in the mixture.




Thirdly, add all the rest of the ingredients and mix with a food processor.


Then you will need to put your cake mixture in a cake tin that is presumably round, of course my sister is licking the mixture.


After you have done that put into your oven and bake for about 40minutes. Make sure you check once or twice, just in case it is ready.
